To the east is a small hill. A ring of pumpkins circle a cave entrance. Just over that hill, there's a small-ish ravine. Keep going and there's a much larger ravine cutting into the side of a small mountain.

Small desert town. No blacksmith, but plenty of librarians willing to trade paper for emeralds (and lots of reed growing along the river at the north end)

Village also borders a Savanna biome. There are plenty of caves in the surrounding area as well.
