Playing around with my spawning and found this nice little thing. This is Large Biom land fair warning. I am also using Jolicraft as the texture pack.

I'd love to know if you find anything new! this map is still rather open for exploration but I can tell it will be good~

There about 3 other towns in the plains biome,

You'll find a second tomb with 24 bones, 6 rotten flesh, and 18 gold. There also some very cool sand cliff over hangs in this area.

Aaaand if you are tried of sand and swamp there is a nice NPC village in a plains biome....With a nice cow tower Hahaha.
