This island has a lot of trees so it is useful for wood. But it is far away, so don't aim for it on your first day, there is a tree on the island you spawn on. If I was you, I would build a bed and house there as early into the game possible.

I haven't explored much so I'll update soon, but I must say, I smell a dungeon. Meaning I smell moss. Also the entrance is on the bed of the sea at the coords: x:180 y:60 z:160
