Not too far from the spawn point.
There is a random underground room RIGHT by the spawn point that could make a nice home/mine/base/arena. Lots of biomes around the area. Plains, a few forests, a swamp and mountain biomes very close to eachother. Pumpkins and sheep are everywhere. Cows at spawn. Check it out!
