Found an abandoned mine right at spawn as well. This seed just keeps getting better and better.
If you go to a cave at [x228, z218] you can follow it down to a huge underground ravine that takes you to the mine if you just keep looking for caves heading down.
or dig straight down at [x186, z146] and you will land in it.
