You spawn on a small island with a sandy beach some sugar can and 1 oak tree. Every island around you for a very far distance aren't very large and seem to only be savanna, birch forests, or desert. They are never very large. most only about 50x50 blocks large with some trees. Some large large islands 700-1200 blocks out.

The island is perfect for hardcore since you only have 1 tree. There is a dungeon under the spawn of the island about 15-25 block up from bedrock. There is no mine shafts though, You can mine straight down and hit it.

Texture pack is a personally modified version of SMP Revival with updated textures to 1.8.9.
