You spawn underwater next to a snowy biome. Next to ice, actually. Then you can travel to the swamp biome, to find a huge underwater ravine. It is absolutely epic.

Some water that should not be like this, but it does anyway. It always spawns like this, and to make it flow like it's supposed to, simply break the blocks under it.

THE underwater ravine. These coordinates are pretty deep underwater, right at the entrance to the ravine. This ravine has lava, coal, iron, gold, redstone, and lapis. And obsidian. So far no diamond, but there are lots of caves branching off, and you may explore it and tell me what you think.

X: -608 / Y: 17 / Z: -80

You are deep into gold level here, but not quite in diamond level, which starts at level (Y axis) 13. You are under the swampland biome, and looking straight at this amazing water/lava flow. It looks really impressive and right above the water is the entrance to the ravine (it's underwater).

This is SUPER impressive. There is a huge HOLE and it looks like you put a huge ball of TNT in there and lit it. It is epic looking and even more epic for mining. This is the place where there is several epic lava flows, some redstone and some obsidian (actually lots).
